The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 04/20/2016

The Wednesday Call (TWC) for April 20, 2016: Andy Albright hosted a brand new The Wednesday Call live from AMP Studios in Burlington, N.C. in front of a live studio audience.

Ryan Parker from F&G Life was a special guest on the show and Andy interviewed Parker about the partnership between The Alliance and F&G during the last 15 years.

The Alliance is holding several boot camps in the next two months so be sure to check www.NAAHotSpots.com to find the most up-to-date schedule of meetings around the country.

Today's main topic was about the ABCDE's of control in your life and how you can affect the outcome of what happens in your lifetime. We all have to make choices every single day. We have to live with those choices whether they are good or bad decisions.

We all make ABCDE choices even if we don't realize it. What we should do it make a choice and then rank it with one of those letters. "A" means something is important. "B" means you should do it. "C" means it would be nice to do it. "D" means it can be delegated to somebody else. "E" means it can be eliminated.

Intelligence means a person does the actions needed to help move them toward their goals and dreams. If you watch what a person says and what they do, you can figure out pretty quickly if a person is serious about what they want out of life. Andy talks about people needing to be a fruit inspector. Don't assume that a fruit tree is a fruit tree before you see fruit growing on it.

People need to realize that they control where they go in life based on their actions and how often they do the right things. You can have the most talent and intelligence in the world, but it doesn't matter if you don't put it to use. People move toward or away from their goals. That is the best way to measure if they are smart or not.

Once you get your goals figured out then you can start planning out your days and your time in an effort to make those things happen.

Most people get stuck operating out of urgency instead of working on important things. Make an effort to focus on doing the important things before they become urgent. Think about the consequences of what you are doing and how it will impact you in the future.

Work on your "A" tasks before you even think about doing a "B" or a "C." Can you work to find things that can be delegated or eliminated so that you can focus only on the very important tasks that fall in the "A" category? It will make life easier if you can figure that out.

Success is working on important tasks. You are free to pick what you do. You can decide what you do more of and you can choose what you do less of. Either way, that decision determines everything. For the rest of your life start thinking about the most impactful thing you can do now. After that, think of the second most impactful thing you can do. After that, think about what you "don't" need to do and avoid doing that.

What you do will actually eliminate other things without you even realizing it. If you have 10 important tasks to do then you better start ranking them and get started on the top one.

The Live Show will air again on April 27, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. EDT.
