The Wednesday Call Live! with Alex Fitzgerald 10/08/2014

The Wednesday Call (TWC) for October 8, 2014: Andy Albright hosts a live conference call and meeting from National Agents Alliance Headquarters in Burlington, NC! Andy's live show covers all kinds of great topics, including training, information on team building, new developments that are in the works, and frank discussions with your fellow agents (beginner and top level managers alike!). If that wasn't enough, the live show also provides motivation and encouragement that will help get you fired up and ready to roll! Be sure to tune in and take advantage of the great info in The Wednesday Call.

Alex Fitzgerald was in Burlington for Day 3 of Fall War Parties and was the special guest of TWC because Andy Albright was traveling to War Parties on the West Coast.

Fitz introduced his fellow members of the East Coast War Party team and each shared their respective experience so far this week.

After the team exited, Fitz talked about being able to get refilled by traveling on War Parties this week. The main topic for Fitz was covering what he is passionate about. The Alliance is passionate about one thing: selling and recruiting and teaching people to do both.

Fitz said the first thing that attracted him to NAA was being able to make decent money selling insurance. He saw the opportunity The Alliance presented him to provide for his family. People warned him not to make his business all about a transaction, but he didn't get it at the time. Over time, Fitz realized it's not about making money. The majority of Americans don't have coverage and they know they need it. Fitz realized this business wasn't transactional when he got a call from a lady who lost her husband in a car accident. The couple never got coverage from Fitz and she was calling to see if it was too late? Fitz said his heart sank because he had failed to do his job. He was so focused on money that he was treating families like customers and not clients. He started seeing people and not dollar signs. He became a friend to people and not an insurance agent. That's what The Alliance is about.

It's not about the commission even though our agents get paid. It's about helping people and families have a plan in case a loved one passes away.

Beyond helping families, The Alliance offers the opportunity to let others join our team. They could be looking for part-time work or full-time work ... We have a place for everybody.

Lastly, Fitz talked about helping teach others how to sell and recruit. Along with that comes helping people with any and everything outside of insurance. That's where The Alliance makes a difference.

Fitz closed by asking people to remember what The Alliance stands for when go to work each week. It's about being Americans for the family and leaving a legacy that is talked about for generations.
