The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 04/06/2016
The Wednesday Call (TWC) for April 6, 2016: In the latest episode of The Wednesday Call live with Andy Albright you will find out how keeping the right pressure on the right kind of people can help blow up your business like Mt. Fuji. As an added bonus, Andy will explain how you can get your people to commit to the simple and easy things.
Andy has been traveling around the country like crazy to meet with as many people as possible to help The Alliance grow this year. You can find out the latest dates where you can see Andy or any of the top leaders of The Alliance by visiting www.NAAHotSpots.com.
When people think of enabling people they might use words like love or hate. People think that hate is a negative word, but it doesn't have to be. When you are an enabler, you are essentially endorsing other people's behavior in a good or bad way. Some people would rather spend $25 on a couple of drinks at the bar. Other people would rather spend $25 on sending a person who needs encouragement fruit or some flowers. Which one do you think is more inspirational? We all make choices and that's OK.
People often use the words love and hate when they are describing something. What do people love? What do people hate? We all have to define those things because they are part of our integrity and our values system. Do your words create chaos, confusion and dissention? Andy hates when people focus on something negative instead of the 10 things that are going well. Yes, we can all improve, but don't have to focus on the negative.
We are looking for people we can trust and build a great life with. That means we don't lie and create problems all the time. The Alliance is not about doing those things.
If you can figure out what a person loves then you can find out the kind of person you are dealing with. Finding out what people hate can also tell us a lot about a person. If you can figure out both those things then you know what kind of person you are dealing with. Expect what you inspect. When you make a connection with people and keep things simple, you will learn more than you expect.
We love finding people that can do the basics. We love working with them. We hate people that don't listen and don't do the basics. We hate working to them. We don't want to beat people up, but we have to be selective about how much time we spend on them if they aren't doing the right things. When we find people that prove they can do the "little things" then we spend our time with them and keep looking for more good or great people like them.
People who exercise duplicity are not good. They say one thing when they really mean another. They think it is clever and funny, but it really hurts the team. When we hate something like that we work on moving away from it. If it isn't productive or uplifting then we shouldn't participate in that kind of talk with people.
We all get 24 hours a day. You have to spend your time in the right areas and with the right people. Spend your time where you get results. Don't spend it where all you get from it is frustration. Do everything you can to "buy" back time so you can get more accomplished each day. Figure out what works best for you and shift the majority of your focus to those items.
Spend your time in areas that produce results for you.
Don't waste your talents by dwelling on things that have long been forgotten and not work to get better today. Move forward and keep doing. Do what you know you are supposed to do. We all have a past and too many of us waste our present living there. It's done. It's over. Wake up and use your talents today.
