The Wednesday Call (TWC) for April 8, 2015: Andy Albright hosts a live conference call and meeting from National Agents Alliance Headquarters in Burlington, NC! Andy's live show covers all kinds of great topics, including training, information on team building, new developments that are in the works, and frank discussions with your fellow agents (beginner and top level managers alike!). Andy Albright went old school this week and hosted The Wednesday Call from his office at NAA headquarters in Burlington, N.C. TWC is normally hosted in AMP Studios, but Andy wanted to do a special show live from his office this week.

This week Andy wanted to discuss the best path to reaching Executive Vice President with The Alliance. A big part of achieving this level is having the correct thinking process. You can’t have a self-defeating thought process and become successful. If you are thinking you can’t do something, then you are correct. You have to think differently and positively to achieve great things. Can you see the potential of things rather than the pitfalls? That’s the first step in being successful.

You can’t think negative thoughts and be a winner? If you are thinking about tomorrow, the future and the fact that anything can happen, then you are on the right track.

The thing that has helped Andy be successful over the years is that he is good at not quitting and he keeps working at tasks.

People who don’t quit, keep working and are committed to a goal will reach the top faster than those who do not. When you learn to say no to things that are really just distractions, you will reach your goals faster.

When you make the decision to say no to things that are not important, you will be on the road to reaching EVP faster. Each day you have to decide what the most important thing is and do that first. When you do that, you get tasks done faster.

Another thing that seems to hold people back is when your ego holds you back. Don’t let your ego get in the way of your income. It’s very difficult to get people to do something they don’t want to do, so why waste time on them when you can work and help people that want to make it big? Figure out the best place to spend your time and focus your energy there. You will be surprised by how much you get done when you do that.
