The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 06/08/2016

The Wednesday Call (TWC) for June 8, 2016: Andy Albright was in the middle of a four-day run to the West Coast this week, but made sure he had time to host this week's The Wednesday Call live from a private airport in Denver, Colorado.

Settle in and get ready as Andy explains how you can do this thing...big!

If you want to win, then you have to make your mind up and decide now. You have to get focused. The ability to focus on the right stuff is the key to winning big. You have to be smart enough to know that you need to try in order to get things accomplished. Success is not an accident.

Stay focused. Work hard. Don't quit.

Losers say circumstances, situations and luck that get you where you are. Winners say it is cause and effect. What you do equates to what you get. When you help people grow, you will be rewarded for it. Some people don't attempt to do something because they are mad at something that happened to them previously. Do not make that mistake.

Winners know it is work, effort and focus that determine where you are in life. You have to have faith and you have to do it.

People are your biggest asset. It is great to have a nice car, a great office and all the bells and whistles, but people are what help you grow the most. If you try to do something you are more likely to accomplish it.

What do people get mad about? They get mad when they don't get what they want. Don't get mad. Stop being angry at people. Remember that you don't know what they are going through in their life. They probably aren't trying to make you mad.

When people get mad, what do you do about it? Don't let somebody else's actions dictate your reaction. Don't engage. Don't blow up. Stay focused on you. Think about something else.

Do you have contempt for others? How about yourself? Get your stuff in order before you start focusing on what other people are doing. You don't have to show contempt to prove that you are an honest person.

Don't be arrogant. Don't be mean. Be content. Be nice. Be inviting. Stop being angry and cynical; get to work. You don't need to be judge and jury of other people. Don't be smug to people. Smile. Don't put your nose in the air and don't look down on people. Don't be a smug person with a critical heart. Don't evaluate what others are doing when they haven't even asked you. Find out what they are doing right and let them know they are good at that.

Look for the good things in people and focus on that. Be a "good" finder in people. See people as valuable.

Pride and loss of gratitude makes people have a sense of entitlement. They think they are smarter than everybody else and they stop giving. They stop serving people. They stop making a difference.

People follow courage, and courage is inconvenient. Lead with a tender heart. Serve people in a way that will allow you to enjoy a happy life. Don't be so sure about what you know that you stop learning things. You could be wrong and not be open to realizing it until you are too late.

Don't think that things are going to get easier. Do know that things will get better. There will be conflict. You can work through it and you need to decide that you are going to get over it now.

Don't stop yourself with anger, contempt and bad thoughts in your mind and heart. See the good and remain focused on that and keep doing what you know you should be doing. Be willing to give up the good because you know you can get great if you keep pushing. Dream bigger than you ever have before.
