The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 07/15/2015

The Wednesday Call (TWC) for July 15, 2015: Andy Albright hosted a brand new episode of The Wednesday Call live from AMP Studios in advance of next week's "In The Hunt" Leadership Conference in Burlington, N.C.

This week's show was about being inspiring to other people. If you have a big dream or do something amazing then other people will take notice and they will be inspired to do big things in their life. When people have success then other people see it and start believing what they thought wasn't possible is very much possible. When you believe you can do it and act on that faith then you will get more accomplished. People judge you on what you do, so you have to act and get things done.

Inspiring people don't sit back and watch. They don't let family and friends hold them back from doing great things. They don't listen to the negative thoughts that others try to put in their heads.

When you are talking and working with people, you have to act out of patience and love. People think differently and you can't get mad at them for that. When you are talking to people it is important to find out what they care about and how they define showing love. We all speak different love languages and you have to figure out what a person's definition of love is to help them get what they want.

As much as you want to make a correction with a person, it isn't always the best way to go about it. You have to find where you intersect with a person and focus on that. When you know where you both are, then you can make things happen together.

There are five ways you can adopt a "me too" attitude that will make you successful, but you have to make the decision to work on those areas. When you sit down and think about where you are, are you OK with it? Are you OK with good, average or great? When you are around people that dream bigger then it is hard for your expectation level not to rise.

Decide what you are going to focus on and stick to it. Make your focus positive. Most people change based on desperation or inspiration. It doesn't matter which one it is, just start changing.

If you can lock in and focus on two or three things, you will see a positive difference. When you do that, watch what happens around you and in your world.

Be curious not judgmental. Don't judge others. When you judge others, people will do the same. Stay focused on the positive. Make an effort to repel the negative and pull the positive in when you are dealing with people.

Make a decision to find something you can appreciate in people and focus on that. Talk about things that are complementary. Even if they are small, make the effort.

Decide that you can't be perfect and be OK with that. This will eliminate disappointment. Be willing to be wrong from time to time. Know that you can always be better tomorrow and you will work toward that goal. Try your best and be OK with that effort.

Decide that you will use the word "faith" more. Act and believe that you will eventually figure it out if you keep trying and don't quit. It's OK to stumble and fail, but how you respond is what matters in the end. You will get better and if you keep trying, you will reach your goal.

Success is when you give it your best! That's all anybody can ask of you.
