The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 07/27/2016
The Wednesday Call (TWC) for July 27, 2016: Andy Albright delivered a brand new episode of The Wednesday Call live from AMP Studios coming out of #LeadCon16 in Burlington, N.C.
The show opened with Andy recapping what happened during #LeadCon16 and encouraged people to check out the latest videos from AMP Studios that were shown at the event. You can also see hundreds of pictures from the event at www.AmpPix.com.
Coming out of LeadCon, Andy wanted to fan the flames and keep you excited and energized to finish the MISSION we are in 2016 in a big way. Get "cray, cray" and win a trip to the Mediterranean while you are making money too! Check out the trip details by visiting www.AllianceEventures.com. Make sure you are on track to win this trip The Alliance is taking in 2017.
How often do you do things? How often do you read, listen to audio, call people, text people, etc.? The answer is simple: as often as needed! Don't do it too much, but don't think about it too much. Do it as often as needed...don't wait until it is too late!
The Alliance is hosting four Instant Thunder events this fall. These intimate events are wildly popular and will sell out soon. You can reserve your spot by signing up at www.InstantThunder.com.
Kenny Lockner, a school teacher from Western Alamance High School, joined Andy on the show and shared his story. Lockner taught both of Andy's children and works part-time with The Alliance at the corporate office. He encouraged people to find out what their purpose is in life and go after it with all your heart, mind and effort.
Alex Abuyuan, one of the top leaders in The Alliance, was Andy's next guest on the show, and he shared a portion of his history with The Alliance. Abuyuan told the audience that his goal moving forward is to travel to host HotSpots around the country more in order to help the team grow. Alex spoke about finding people with the right mindset to help The Alliance grow. He said it is critical to love on people and to be genuine about helping people live a better life. This business gives people the opportunity to find their purpose. The Alliance has the tools to help people fix their lives and provide for their family. We help people get their heart and mind right.
Andy discussed the importance of focusing on being positive in your interactions with people. Fight the urge to point out negative stuff and shortcomings of other people and situations. If you expected 100 people at a meeting and only 20 show up, don't be negative about it. You should be glad that 20 people wanted to be at the meeting. Our brains need love and good feelings. The brain is healthier in that environment than in one that feeds it bad thoughts and feelings. Think good thoughts and share positive encouragement with people you meet and talk to on a daily basis.
Who is coaching you? How are you coaching people?
Do you set small, attainable goals? Are they specific about it? What questions are they asking you? What does your schedule look like? Do they monitor your progress? Do they value you when you hit small targets? Do they celebrate the big and the small achievements? Is your mentor helping you move toward your big goals and dreams? Do they help you move step by step on the right path? Do they compare you to the ideal or do they compare you to the rest of the world?
All those questions are very important to your success. Make sure you are mindful of that when you are working with people too.
Our mind is attracted more to a positive and encouraging environment than a bad environment where sarcasm and negativity rule the day. We all need to find a healthy environment to thrive in life. We all need help to figure out where we are, where we need to go and what people we need to spend time around.
We all crave health. We all need help. We want to hear that we are worthy from time to time. Most people don't expect a hand out, but they don't mind a helping hand. We need to feel like we are part of a team that is bigger than just us.
What are WE looking for when we hire people? We all need to be a connection that fuels people to be more excited, to do more, to encourage more and to be more positive. Connections fuel the soul. Connections are important. The right connections make learning and failure OK because you can recover from it. A failed attempt is not failure. Failing to attempt something is failure.
The Alliance believes success is about the "do." When you "Do the Do" you are going to be more successful. Make another call. Meet another person. Pat another person on the back. Make one more positive, encouraging decision. Operate with great energy and enthusiasm. It is contagious.
