The Wednesday Call Live! with Andy Albright 12/16/2015
The Wednesday Call (TWC) for December 16, 2015: Andy Albright was live in studio for another episode of The Wednesday Call at National Agents Alliance headquarters. He hosted the show coming off training meetings in Charlotte and Greensboro, N.C. in the last 48 hours.
Mark Marcellus was in town from Jacksonville, Fla. and brought a team of people with him to attend the show and training the previous night in Greensboro. Marcellus and Andy talked about the excitement and growth that is taking place for people with The Alliance as we close out 2015.
Today's main show topic was about anticipation. Are you excited that 2015 is over, or are you excited about what will happen in 2016? What kind of attitude are you ending the year on? It matters because it will impact how you start the New Year.
Are you grateful for all you have and did in 2015? Andy encouraged people to be grateful for what you got in 2015 even if it wasn't your best year. That's the way you will start 2016 off right come January 1. You know when things are good or great because you've experienced bad or not good.
Can you imagine doing big things in 2016? Can you believe it will happen for you? Can you picture it in your mind? Most people see themselves as small and not capable of great things. Andy wants people to believe in what they can do and stop thinking about what they can't do. The three Ps of anticipation are planning, preparing and positioning. You have to get ready now if you are going to be able to run a marathon in 2016.
What does anticipation make you do? It makes you value today. It makes you think about how great 2016 will be. If I know something is coming in three months, then I need to start getting ready for it today. You have to think about the great stuff coming down the road so you can focus on today. Call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Thinking about good stuff will get you excited about today. When you know that tomorrow is going to come, you will get more done. Most people don't know when the end will be for them, but they know another day is coming. People that know they are going to die one day get more done. A huge percentage of people believe in God, something like 95 percent. However, many of them don't believe in the institution of church.
The Alliance wants people to believe in P.I.E. We want prosperity, inspiration and eternity. There is plenty to go around for the whole time. Eternity is a long time. You better get your stuff together so that when your time comes you are prepared.
Andy believes there is a reward and a purpose that starts when life on Earth ends. If you plan and prepare today, then you will be ready down the road. Anticipation gets you moving, challenges you, helps you understand that every minute and every day is important.
Anticipation forces you to prepare. You must prepare for the future. Doing this helps you get ready now instead of waiting for the time to come first. It all matters. Reading. Listening to audio. Asking people questions. When are you going to get ready?
Winning teams prepare. They practice. They plan. They are ready when the time comes. Are you chasing something or anticipating where you should be before it is too late?
Anticipation helps us think of good ideas. When you are optimistic you come up with good ideas. If you are negative, you are not open to good ideas. The way you get to where you want to be is to anticipate getting there and talking about what it will be like. Andy believes you "faith" it until you make it happen. Maybe you can't see it, but you believe it will be one day.
Think about when you are trying to get ketchup out of a glass bottle. The anticipation is amazing. You are excited because you know it is coming. It just takes longer than maybe you want it to. Be optimistic about the future and stay positive.
Problems will always come up, but you have to address them and keep doing the tasks that are important
Anticipation prompts you to help others. Make it a point to overcome something and share it with somebody else. You can't add value to others until you add value to yourself. Take your experience and use it to help another person.
People that have big anticipation about tomorrow have an abundance attitude. They also know there more than enough to go around so they keep helping people succeed. When Andy found out it was a choice to be positive or negative, that there was enough for everybody to go around then his life changed. Everything is a choice and you get to decide how you react to everything good or bad.
Andy tries to be positive regardless of the situation and encourages others to do the same too. Life isn't always filled with sunshine. How you responds make a difference. If you expect abundance, you will get it.
